What can ShareMyCar do?

When starting: select the vehicle. The last known mileage is suggested automatically. You can, of course, correct it if it does not match.
At the end of the trip: read and enter the mileage. Done.
Record expenses: fuel, repairs and more. Expenses such as fuel or repairs are automatically deducted from the relevant user’s statement.
You have a complete overview of your trips and expenses at all times.
Statements: the vehicle administrator can easily create monthly statements. Statements can be exported as a PDF document or CSV file.

How do I use ShareMyCar?

Go to share-my-car.com and select “Create account”.
Enter your preferred login details. You will then receive an email asking you to create a password.
You can then add vehicles and drivers.
Drivers receive an email invitation asking them to create a password.
As an administrator, you create statements and manage vehicles and users.

What does ShareMyCar leave out?

ShareMyCar intentionally leaves out certain features and capabilities.

No Google Maps and no location data means no tracking — no one knows where you are or where you’re going.
No need to install anything on your devices — just access the website
No ads, no data harvesters like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
No unnecessary features, so you can use it right away.
Only mileage and expense data are stored on our server—and all of that can be entered anonymously.

How much does ShareMyCar cost?

Every plan applies to one Share My Car account. You can change or cancel annual plans at any time through Stripe.
